The Emotional Eating Programme
Welcome to my website, I am Yvette Wass, a COSRT Accredited Relationship and Sexual Psychotherapist, providing relationship counselling and psychosexual therapy in Doncaster and online. I also provide counselling in Emotional Eating Behaviours and have extensive experience in providing discreet and confidential support to couples and individuals.
- Your relationship with yourself e.g. view of self and how this impacts your relationship with others and vice versa
- Coping with the loss of a relationship or adjusting to changes in a relationship
~ Communication problems e.g. feeling unheard, misunderstood and emotionally disconnected in the relationship.
~ Working through specific pressures affecting the relationship e.g. trust issues, work pressures, parenting/family, depression etc
~ Issues around intimacy in the relationship
~ Sexual dysfunctions/difficulties that include interest and arousal problems, sexual avoidance/phobias
I provide individual support to clients in Doncaster or online who may be struggling with emotional eating behaviours through a 10 week programme. This intensive programme offers a toolbox of techniques to explore and includes lots of self reflection. It is particularly helpful for those who overeat or eat unhealthily to manage their emotions (either as a way of coping or rewarding) and who may have tried lots of different diets where the results haven't lasted. This type of specific counselling goes deeper into understanding what is behind your comfort eating so working out why you eat, what you eat, when you eat and how to stop.
If you have any initial questions before booking an appointment for relationship counselling, psychosexual therapy or emotional eating behaviour counselling in Doncaster or online, please use the message facility on this page or contact myself, Yvette Wass by email or phone.
Clients need to be 18 years or over to access therapy.
